New Years Day Dip 2011

On January 1^st 2011 I took part in the Lions New Years Day Dip in aid of Beagle Welfare – for months I nagged work colleagues, family and friends and raised a total of £520. On the day Buster, Millie and I got ourselves out of bed 33% of us had a hangover…and nope it wasn’t the beagles!! It was my 26^th Birthday and getting up early for a cold sea swim was the last thing on my mind! We arrived in Cawsand (South-East Cornwall Coast) and the atmosphere was amazing. I registered myself and dressed Buster and Millie in their little sailors outfits.

We then lined up for judging of the fancy dress…and came 1^st for best individual entry.

The swim was cold but wow to raise £520 makes it so worthwhile.
